[Major Update] Sicko Sanctum V1.1 is Out Now!


What's shaken sicko squad!?! Finally (after immense procrastination) Sicko Sanctum V1.1 is out. To accommodate it is a smidge larger than I originally anticipated. This is the last major update for the free version of the game, if enough issues are found I'll release a small update for this version but it's not likely. The paid steam version is still planned, along with an already in development sequel called, Shenaniganizer's Last Tango!

Additions:

- There is now a new Baller variant! The cannon name is the Gorgeous Baller, but I'm probably never gonna call it that. They are faster than every other enemy, but every four seconds stop to shoot a spread shot. They are smaller but have less health than the base Baller.

- How to screen added! Accessible from title and pause screens

 - Replaced the prior Vaporwave aesthetic set with a new one 

- New credits screen, is a button instead, also accessible from both the title and pause screen.

 - The slam now has a hurtbox. It is somewhat small, but it does enough damage to 1 hit gob jesters.

Balances, Changes, Fixes 

 - 8-way sliding. 

- Completely new spawn rates for waves after 10

 - Shooting ball formator ball with pistol now has a far larger radius and damage output. In addition it now has its own proprietary sprite. 

- The Baller Formator ball also explodes either after 10 seconds or upon impact with a wall, pillar, or cieling

- Fixed weapon animations not playing when firing in quick succession 

- Gas Sword has a far larger hurtbox, its charge is quicker but cannot immediately go into attacking now. 

 - Mason's shots have been reworked. Instead of one big bullet, they shoot one huge barrage of bullets with different speeds and sizes, like a shotgun on drugs!

- Also Mason's new shots got a new sprite 

- Explode enemies, Projectile enemies, and Goblin Jesters have larger hitboxes 

- Ball Formator Ball is larger 

- Goblin Jester has smaller hurtbox 

- Removed warehouse stage 

- You can now jump on top of and off of enemies 

- The mega-jump can ofc be used in 8 directions like 8-way sliding, system for altering trajectory has been redone and fixed

 - Gas Sword Upgrade does not speed up swing or charge rates, however, always starts it on 1st charge (only need two to fully charge) 

- Smaller stages have been scaled up in size and given smaller spawn counts 

- Spawning happens 3 times faster now

 - That one stage with 3 bridges in the middle doesn't spawn things slowly now

 - Trash Gun special move does more damage but has a smaller spread

 - How To Screen took the Control Screen's spot on the pause screen, Controls Screen button is in Options Menu 

- Special stages have been balanced further 

- In new balancing Wave 30-40 has its own algorithms, past wave 40 it's own 

- When falling off you take 50 health instead of 60 

- Special stages are less common

Blah blah blah... most importantly..! 

 - The file size has been slashed to 3 times smaller than it was before! 

- In addition, frame rate and general performance should be far better now!!! 

- I haven't tested it but there is a fair chance smaller end builds will not crash the game upon reloading now!
